The Godfather 2

Whenever a company attempts to touch a well known and loved property, they tread into particularly dangerous territory. Go too loose with the interpretation, and you'll get roasted by fans and critics for completely abandoning the source material; too close and there's practically no point in making the game version at all. This was the tightrope that Electronic Arts had to walk with The Godfather II, an action title that attempts to follow some key elements of the acclaimed film. Adding in a healthy dose of strategy to aid fledgling Dons with their criminal empire, The Godfather II provides a good dose of entertainment, but the lack of difficulty holds the game back from truly becoming a great crime game.

Forget Robert De Niro and the tales of a young Vito Corleone in New York – The Godfather II focuses on Michael Corleone, starting with the meeting of the families in Havana to divide up Hyman Roth's empire. Unfortunately, the business is never concluded because the Cuban Revolution forces everyone to flee the country. As Dominic, a soldier of Aldo Trapani (the protagonist of the first Godfather game who has risen to run all of the Corleone business in New York), you wind up leading Michael, Fredo and Aldo to the airport in an attempt to flee. However, as you get to the runway, Aldo is shot and killed, prompting Michael to promote you into Aldo's place. The promotion comes with a significant burden, though: you need to re-establish control of New York, then expand to Miami and eventually Cuba to strengthen your family's control. Of course, other families will stand in your way, and it's up to you to eliminate them by any means necessary to aid in your domination of the crime world.

Cars make such pretty 'splosions...
Cars make such pretty 'splosions...
Obviously, there are some liberties taken from the film, as any fan of the movie would tell you (myself included). For example, the designers decide to make Dominic instrumental in breaking Frank Pentangeli during the Senate testimony on the Corleone family. Fredo also has a much larger role within the game than he ever had within the film, acting as a plot device throughout the story of the game and interacting with Michael and the rest of the Corleones thanks to saving him in Cuba. I wasn't too disturbed by much of the artistic license that was used in the title, but there were two elements that were used that just didn't work well. The first is one of the most memorable moments in the second film, when Michael informs Fredo that he knows Fredo betrayed him. Instead of this happening in Cuba, this happens in the study at the Corleone compound in New York after a majority of the game has been completed, which diffuses the strength of that moment.

The other issue, which is more significant, is the introduction of Tom Hagen as your consigliere, which happens around halfway through the game. While I don't have a problem with Hagen advising Dominic at all, his arrival in the middle of the story makes no sense, especially since the game constantly uses an image of Tom to provide information and hints on events going on as you make your moves against your rivals. This is compounded by the fact that Dominic acts as if he's only met Tom once or twice, even though the player has seen Tom's face dozens of times at this point. It would've made more sense to introduce Tom much earlier and have him provide this information as you start to build your empire and kill your rivals, because it just comes across as a weak and confusing plot device.

You broke my heart, Fredo, you broke my heart.
You broke my heart, Fredo, you broke my heart.
Speaking of your empire, The Godfather II takes an interesting twist to eliminating your rivals by working elements of strategy in with the guns blazing action that you expect from a crime tale. The strategy comes into play with a feature known as The Don's View, a 3D map that allows you to view your property and that of rival families so you can plan where you want to strike. See, to strengthen your family, you'll need to take over fronts that help launder money as well as the nine crime rings in the game, which provide bonuses to the family that owns it. For example, owning the gun running ring allows you to carry more ammo, while the drug ring doubles your income. However, you can't simply take over a business or ring and not expect a certain amount of retribution. Rivals will send their own made men to bomb or try to wrest control from you, forcing you to use The Don's View to decide when you want to send reinforcements or set up extra defenders to fend off these attacks.

You'll also be able to use this map to track down corrupt officials that you can do tasks for in return for favors that can be called in at any time, which can result in throwing off the police when you're being chased or arresting Mafioso, making an opponent that much more vulnerable. Of course, this is a temporary measure, and if you're going to try to fully eliminate a family, you'll want to track down each individual mobster and put a hit out on them. You'll discover the info on their location by doing favors for people on the street, like demolishing businesses, beating or killing people, or cracking safes. Once you've taken every business of a rival, their entire family (minus any made men that you've "retired") will retreat to their compound which you need to raid and blow up to finally eliminate their existence once and for all.

While you will be able to perform some of the tactical moves for your family, you'll inevitably find yourself deep in the midst of the action with up to three crew members, each with their own skills that will help you in battle. For instance, you can bring along a medic that can heal downed members of your crew, engineers that can cut the power so rivals can't call for reinforcements and demolitions guys that can bomb installations. For the most part, these crewmembers will act autonomously, targeting and taking out enemies as soon as they see them, but you do have the ability to provide minor commands to them to send them to a location, make them follow you or use their skills on certain objects. Of course, Dominic isn't a pushover either, and you'll be able to pummel whoever you want with his fists, choke the life out of them, or blast a kneecap or a shoulder with precise aim. Of course, you can also use the weapons that you acquire to execute enemies like beating them senseless with a golf club or shoving a Tommy gun in their mouth and ventilating the back of their head. Now, if you're finding that you're having trouble with a particular location or fight, you can spend cash to increase the stats of both Dominic and your crewmembers, making them more capable in battle, like healing faster or being more accurate with weapons.

It has a lot of adult content so please don't let the children play this game at all cost.

Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga

An Epic Mythical Game
Divinity II: Ego Draconis re-invents itself in Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga with new graphics, more quests, and more than 100 hours of game play in an epic, satisfying, and entertaining role playing game that combines the best—and sometimes, the worst—of old school and new school RPGs.
Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga is essentially a 're-mastered' version of the original game that also includes a high-level expansion/continuation of the original game called Flames of Vengeance. In addition to updated and improved graphics, Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga adds many new quests, items, and other goodies to the game.
You begin by creating a character cut from familiar RPG molds: Warrior, Mage, Priest, or Ranger. However, you can freely spend points on skills from any class you choose, so you’re never locked into a particular skill tree. As you gain levels, you also purchase characteristics points and spread them among Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, Intelligence, and Spirit.
The StoryDivinity II puts you in the role of a Dragon Slayer turned Dragon Knight. Dragon Slayers are sworn to kill dragons, but early in your career a dragons turns you into a Dragon Knight—a human chosen as a champion that serves dragons.
What it all really boils down to is that you’re a heroic knight that can shape shift into a dragon—although you don’t gain this ability until a good ways into the game. We won't spoil the specifics of the game's story; though it starts out a little cryptically, part of its charm is the way it reveals itself to you.
Old School RPG meets Action RPG meets MMORPG Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga plays a bit like an old-school RPG along the lines of Wizardry combined with a modern action-RPG mixed with a dash of MMORPG (though it’s strictly single-player). No matter how you slice it, Divinity II is a satisfying role playing game.
However, the ‘old school’ elements of Divinity II work both for and against the game depending on your own fondness (or hatred) for such games.
Simply put, Divinity II doesn’t hold your hand much (less common now in modern games), so it's more difficult for new players. There is relatively little guidance in the early game, and even character creation is a bit of a guessing game as to what will and won’t work effectively (although you can always retrain later for a price). It's not a major problem, but it may catch some players a little off-guard.
And be prepared to die a lot, at least in the early game if you’re either new to this style of RPG, or you just haven’t encountered one for a while. (Once you adapt it gets much better.) Even the story is a little bit cryptic the way it unfolds, and you might feel a little confused about who you are and what the heck is going on—but it all sorts itself out in fairly short order in the early game.
Another hallmark of 'old school' RPGs is that Divinity II will throw quests at you that you may have no hope of completing without ‘grinding’ a little to level up. For example, early on you’re told to go into the back of a chapel and kill a ghost, which is must be completed to advance the story. But if you run off to accomplish this too quickly, you’ll get your ass handed to you on a silver platter—probably before you ever get to the ghost, too.
And don’t expect the game to warn you. The game’s way of 'warning' you is killing you in the face. Repeatedly.
You did save, right? Thankfully, Divinity II lets you save as often as you like. But because it only auto-saves once in a blue moon, the game demands nigh religious devotion to saving your game, lest an inconvenient death cost you minutes or hours of progress. But the good (and also bad) news is that Divinity II can really pull you in and make you forget to save as you  continually delve a little further to see just what lays around the bend...
Old School is a good school Just because Divinity II eschews some modern game design sensibilities (which some PC gaming ‘Grognards’ might call ‘candy-assed’) doesn’t mean it isn’t a great game. Once you understand its ‘old school’ leanings and adapt, it has a lot to offer, and it's all packaged in a generally beautiful game with superb music, voice acting, an interesting story, and a huge world just waiting to be explored.
Tossing aside tutorials, hand-holding, and a more linear story allowed the developers at Larian Studios to create an enormous ‘sandbox’ style world to explore and play in—Divinity II actually plays something like an MMORPG, giving you near-total freedom to wander and explore to your heart’s content. There are more than 100 hours of game play (including side quests) between the primary game and the included expansion Flames of Vengeance.
At times Divinity II almost seems to channel the spirit of games even as old as the Ultima or Wizardry series, as well as games such as Daggerfall and Morrowind. Divinity II re-introduces the thrill of exploration and discovery that is often missing from more linear RPG games—wandering off the beaten path into a lost valley, stumbling upon mysterious ruins, and then finding a hidden door to a cavern, for example. None of it may have anything to do with the primary story line, but you can find entire dungeons, quests, and other interesting locales (and monsters and treasure, of course) if you’re game to look for them.
Your wanderings are only limited by your ability to handle the variety of monsters inhabiting the areas you wish to explore—but once you clear them out, they don’t respawn.
Plenty of new school One thing that immediately impressed us with the game was the overall quality of the story, voice acting, and writing—all of which are excellent, and matched by an equally stellar soundtrack.
Combat is action-oriented and not turn-based, so you can dodge and (to a degree) button-mash your way to victory, although there are plenty of ways to crush your enemies depending on the class you choose. Because you can freely pick skills from any class, you can tailor your abilities to your preferred mode of combat and mix various ranged skills with melee skills. For example, you can freely mix some of the Ranger class' bow abilities, the mage class' fiery spells, and the warrior's melee abilities.
Another interesting ability that all classes have is the mind-reading skill, which you can use (for a price in experience points) on characters you talk to in order to learn secrets. These can often clue you into side quests that may not otherwise reveal themselves, or give you information such as passwords or clues to the location of items that may be of interest to you.
Divinity II also adds several mechanics similar to many MMORPGs. Characters with quests are marked clearly (!), and there is even a crafting system of sorts. You don’t need to buy any specific skills to harvest items, but spread throughout the game are stones, plants, and other crafting materials just waiting to be mined, picked, or found and later combined through various recipes. You can also collect (ahem) body parts and have your good friend the Necromancer assemble a "pet" for you.
And finally, there is the whole dragon shape-shifting thing, which adds some interesting variety in the form of aerial combat via fire-breathing dragon. It’s pretty fun (if relatively shallow) action game play. It definitely looks (and feels) cool, and provides an added dimension to an already deep game.
Overall Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga can be a harsh mistress in the early game, but it is a rewarding, entertaining, and well-crafted game that will keep you playing for many, many hours. At $40 on Steam, Divinity II is well worth the investment.
And if you already bought the original game (Divinity II: Ego Draconis) from Steam, you can get Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga at 33% off and just play the included expansion, Flames of Vengeance, which starts you at level 35 and picks up the story after the end of Divinity II: Ego Draconis.

Kane and Lynch 2 Dogs Day

Review of a Really Violent Game
For the titular characters in Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, the events of the game’s story are a sort of awful anecdote. Akin to the boasts of a town drunkard, it’s a brutal, tragic tale of one wrong turn leading to another, and the sheer determination required of two men to pull through the worst situation of their whole lives. It’s a simple, yet powerful narrative wrapped up in a game with myriad problems both large and small, but through sheer force of will breaks through them to reveal bits of bastardly brilliance.
Former criminal compatriots Adam ‘Kane’ Marcus and James Seth Lynch are brought together again after spending a few years trying to forget the dismal sales and controversy of their original outing, 2007’s Dead Men. The roles of the two get heavily reversed and the focus is on a sober Lynch, who has set up something resembling a peaceful life in Shanghai; at least as peaceful a life as a lunatic enforcer working for a local ex-pat mob boss can get. The disheveled, desperate Kane steps off the plane to meet his chaotic comrade, and is immediately pulled into a small bit of business intimidating a local hoodlum. Things go bad and the hood and his girl end up dead at the duo’s hands, causing a reaction that thrusts the pair through 48 hours of utter hell.

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days
The multiplayer interface isn’t informative, matchmaking seems to take forever, and the game uses a host system with no apparent migration capability. An angry host can disconnect all players, and considering this is a game about betrayal . . . that happens fairly often. Undercover Cop mode is hard to make fair, as with a lower number of players it becomes perhaps too easy for the fuzz to win, but in full games it becomes very difficult to not get killed quickly by a pack of players moving in tandem. However, the ups of multiplayer outweighs many of the downs, especially if you just want to indulge in avarice for an hour or two on a frustrated Wednesday evening.

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days
If this picture was diagrammed with the number of variations in which these three will betray each other once they stop firing out of frame, it would make most quarterback playbooks look simple.

How much you’ll be into Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days ends up hinging on how much you can tolerate the despicable aspects of humanity. The story mode forces you to be on the receiving end of an emotional hazing of likeable characters, the presentation will kick you right in the inner ear at times and the multiplayer mode encourages you to be paranoid and spiteful. If you aren’t turned away immediately, you’ll find that all of the elements work at a base, Punk Rock, level. Sure it’s nihilistic, sure it’s a bit ugly, sure it’s repetitive after a while; but it moves you at your very core because the flaws work for it as much as they work against it.
Punk Rock caught on, but it remains to be seen if the same will be said of the disillusioned Kane and the psychotic Lynch. As the first tale of theirs was butchered in the telling, it all depends on how well the general gaming world responds to these grizzled guys again. It’s easy to see their fickle audience banning them to the bar of forgotten gaming characters; giving Duke Nukem, Chakan the Forever Man, and James Pond some company. Kane and Lynch could use a drink after the events of Dog Days, but they don’t deserve to be put in that pound yet.

This is the right game to test the peak of your gaming skills if you master this game you can show of in front of your friends and if they try to challenge you make sure that you kick their butt or you will be embarrassed also don;t forget that this game is also a multiplayer so try to dhow off world wide and kick people's assess world wide.

Call Of Duty Moderen Warefare 2

The Greatest First-Person Series

Activision Blizzard claims that Call of Duty 6 (COD 6) Modern Warfare 2 is the best installment of the game so far. MW2 is designed to be as much of a breathlessly cinematic experience as simple run-n-gun outing. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 can be played solo or multiplayer. Players can connect online (MMORPG) and fight with each other on a one-on-one basis or a group fight. This is really exciting knowing the fact that you are actually fighting with a real thinking machine and not AI. If you love video games, the firepower and improved graphics of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will surely stun you. You can buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Amazon and other popular online stores. Pricing is included in one of our articles in the past.

This game comes with very crisp and vivid graphics. Plug it in a new Plasma or LCD TV and immerse yourself in an almost real-life drama where players join a global military task force taking on ultra nationalist Russian terrorists to save the world. Settings include Russia, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, and Brazil. Call of Duty 6 MW2 is rated for people ages 17 or older and is quite controversial in depicting a very realistic but brutal manner of terrorist encounters. Parental guidance is recommended.

This is an awesome game to play especially multiplayer your whole experience changes while playing it online but as i told you before you have to master single player before playing it online if you didn't do that you will look plain stupid.

Fifa 11

FIFA 11

The Greatest Sport game

These are the facts: our FIFA 11 is not as good as the FIFA 11 on consoles – it’s more like FIFA 10.5. But FIFA 11 on PC is still excellent. Orders of magnitude above last year’s sloppy version. Its game is beautiful even on average PCs, with an AI that contests and scraps as hard as any human.

Its strength is its responsiveness. A button-jab (Xbox 360 game pad heartily recommended) elicits an immediate reaction: a leg stuck out or a toe extended. Sports game frustration invariably comes as a result of missed cues, when computer people don’t do what flesh-and blood humans would in the same situation. But FIFA ’s behind-the scenes magic generally pulls the correct response out of its grab bag of skills. Passes are zippy, through balls weighted with risk but lethal when deployed at a carved-up defense. My thoughts became entwined with the matches I was playing. I spent games chuckling madly at my own ingenuity, like an omnipotent Martin O’Neill.

Manager Mode lets you buy players for a team.

Frustration isn’t entirely excised. Several times I found my charges pulling moves more suited to the other end of the pitch. I had Emile Heskey barrel toward a perfectly bouncing ball, smelling his first goal since the invention of fire, before leaping sadly and caressing it into a waiting goalkeeper’s mitts with a pathetic header. I would’ve screamed, had I not been giggling.

Crossing is toothless: ponderous box-bound balls take far too long to find a receiving head. Momentum is most important with wing-play – delivering a ball at the end of a storming 40-yard run will sometimes see it slam off the forehead of a striker who’s been keeping pace – but even when I picked a Stoke or a Sunderland, teams based around aerial domination, I rarely connected with solid headers. Fine control, too, is far from reality: stick the ball to Messi’s boot and the deft tricks and touches he deploys in the real world require the same convoluted button-presses as for a League One player.

That's it, keep your eye on the ball.

Also missing are the innovations of the console version: we get none of the new personality simulation, and the game feels less connected with actual teams and recognizable players because of it.

Real football

But these are the exceptions. FIFA 11 takes the uncertainty from real football and appropriates it, giving you the ability to deal with emergent scenarios creatively. The ball is a big part of that: it behaves like a ball. Other football seem to follow preset courses, but not here. I fired a shot at a keeper who dived the right way, the ball apparently sailing into his grasp – just as his defender extended a boot. It flicked up, over the keeper’s head and into the net, a scene as ridiculous and real as the football on television and in parks around the country.

FIFA 11 is a mildly disappointing Christmas present. It’s the best game of football we’ve seen on the PC, but sitting next to us is our younger sibling Johnny Console gamer – and his present does more stuff.

Call of Duty Black ops

Review of an awesome game

CALL OF DUTY
BLACK OPS

Hear the call of duty once again with this seventh entry in this blockbuster first-person shooter franchise. Call of Duty: Black Ops takes you deep behind enemy lines into the world of deniable operations as a member of an elite special forces unit engaging in covert warfare, classified operations, and explosive conflicts across the globe. With access to a variety of exclusive weaponry and equipment, your actions will tip the balance during the most dangerous time period mankind has ever known.

In a rental studio complex on Shepherds Bush Road in London, a few dozen games journalists are having their senses pulverized by Trey arch operatives. With speakers cranked up to 11 and a gigantic screen, the developer is showing us Huey choppers strafing immense crowds of soldiers as buildings burn, gun fights rage and military installations explode.
This is Activation's pre-E3 event and it feels like good training for next month's massive industry get-together. Indeed, it feels like having your synapses sucked out of your eyeballs. Call of Duty is a lot of things, but what it is not, nor ever will be, is subtle.

Set during the Cold War, COD: Black Ops follows several covert operations groups, the secret units set up by the CIA to engage in deniable actions all over the world. Steeped in conspiracy theory and no doubt paying close heed to declassified government files, the game takes in the agency's anticommunist activities in Eastern Europe, in Vietnam and in Cuba. Trey arch won't be drawn on specific dates, but I'm thinking things will focus on the sixties and seventies, from the Bay of Pigs invasion right through to 'Nam and maybe even Watergate. The missile crisis and Kennedy assassination must surely figure, too.

This is a heck of a game cool graphics and many more, this is the reason people like to prefer Call of Duty series instead of Counter Strike, they have no good graphics old weapons. Call of Duty Black ops is a major break through for activsion this game is with us for a short time but still millions of hits.

The game specification:

CPU:Intel® Core™2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 or better
RAM:2GB
VGA:Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GT / ATI Radeon® X1950Pro or better
DX:DirectX 9.0c
OS:Windows® Vista / XP / 7
HDD:12GB
Sound:Direct X 9.0c-compatible

Hope the game works on your pc if not then bust up your computer and ask your parents to buy you a new PC which can run Call of Duty Black ops.

Have fun Gaming ....... :)
